Art to me is not only an expression of a emotion from a picture but it creates a story. My idea for this look was to bring distinct pieces that represent confidence and boldness. When I first started making this look. I started with the JW Anderson top that shows a person waiting for change to happen. This is very graphic and detailed painting, which I believe you have to have confidence to pull off. I coupled it with The House of Harlow trouser because of it’s fearless pattern. A polk a dot pattern often times unseen in this blog takes a daring person to pull off. Then add a transparent Marc Jacob heel that shows a futuristic side to this look. This look shows confidence in being the person to watch in the room.
I wanted to grab a unquie design or colorful accessories that showcase my look to it’s best ability. Gentle Monster fully answers my wishes, with a minty tint and oval sunglasses. Next Jennifer Fisfer uses a waterfall illusion chain earing to give this look a touch of class . Then adding a contrasting color with the Marc Jacob Ballon Star silver studed earrings. The lock bracelet by Ambush shows both silver and gold detaling to bring the look together. When showing the bag and wallet I wanted to display a contrast combination. The grey YSL sunset chain shoulder bag conveys sophistication while the neon Marc Jacobs wallet is the complete opposite. A pop of pink with the Pat McGrath eyshadow and lipgloss, and tint of red in Huda bea lipstick. The key to me to being different is being confident, be bold and being extraordinary.
