I wanted to create a tropical inspired look with the perfect mix between playful bright shades and mossy earth tones. Whenever I think of a island, greenery is one of the most important factors of a vacation. This is where mellow and natural colors; such as burnt oranges, and mossy green fit into the look. When I think of color coded buildings and a glowing skylines I move towards the bold yellows and pinks. Colors of images of a island such as the British Virgin Islands or Turks & Caicos fill this look.
It started with a sunrise and bright as silky Versace top. I kept the silk theme with the Dolce & Gabbana lace trouser to add a playful piece to the look. Certain pieces in this look remind me of the greenery on the island. One piece that represented this was the Riviera tied Jacquemus pump heel. At Acne Studios I look for unquie designs and pink pigments, which inspired me to mention their pink bucket tote. Every bag needs a wallet & this one is needed in a cappuccino tan.
I always try to add or tweak something, I added a thin straw hat by Jacquemus to remind me of the palm trees. Eyewear is a key essential & I found these turtle shell pattern Alessandra Rich sunglasses were the perfect fit. I am no stranger to gold and shiny jewelry, my inspiration for the jewelry is based on the feeling from the ocean. The Argento Vivo earrings caught my eye and made me think of the colors of the sea. Next the coin necklace reminds me of Anissa Kermiche throwing a coin in a fountain for good luck. Along with the Anissa Kermiche pearl neckalace givng a feeling of protection and good luck. When it comes to makeup the pigment Viseart for me I imagine a smoky eye with bronze and orange shades. I complete the face with a dark rosey pink Hourglass lipstick. This look all together reminds me of a vacation with hot weather and beautiful skylines.
