Fashion shows not only showcase new looks but they develop new trends for the future. Makeup is an important contribution used to create the image of the collection. While taking my photography classes in high school I’ve learned people look at the ‘face first’. My focus was to take this 70”s glam look from Paris Fashion week and turn it into my own.
Browsing thru reliable beauty sources I noticed this RVDK line in Allure which examined the latest beauty trends. I was fascinated by this makeup trend from the metallic in the crease of the eye to the bold red in the middle lid of the eye. I started with a shimmer using SUVA to give the same effect seen in Allure. I felt that blending the shades Mango tango (orange) , Sizzle (pink) and Salsa (raspberry) to give this ombré of different hues was an amazing combination. For the bold glistening lip I used Pat McGraph. As seen in the post the jewelry and accessories extend the glamour look. I started with the Piercing necklace Fenty chain with a Swarovski gem with a gold chain. Then I added three different earrings the Chaloote Chesnais’s Galilea earring, Stella ear cuff by Melinda Maria and Nao earrings to add a range of ear piercing. The final touch was a Peony flower Judith Leiber made with pink crystal and shades of petals and roses. This look was focused on adding the perfect amount metallic to glamourize this 70’s look.
