A cold winter morning with below-freezing temperatures is the way we are ending the first month on the new year. I wanted to look at sustainable brands. The main focus of my look would be outerwear and knitwear because it’s essential during this time of year.
I started this knit fit with a
Shopstyleguise mask for coverage during COVID-19 . The first piece for the look was a sweater by the sustainable knitwear brand
Knitter. , Knitter is a knitwear brand based in New Zealand. I first heard of the brand through Hypebae which listed it as Hypebae’s 9 Cozy and Sustainable Knitwear Brands. This piece was followed by Pangaea sustainable brand sweat pants. For outerwear, I used a citrus green Mackage jacket one of the special brands mentioned in my Bundle Up post. For accessories I wanted to pair the Holden shearling gloves with a Noize hat (another brand mentioned in my Bundle Up look) along with See glasses. For the sneakers, I picked the Stussy x Nike earth tone collaboration which was a best seller and sold out as soon as it came in. When looking for jewelry, I used the gold Baublebar 5 pack of hoops with a Misho statement earring that showcases its curved design. This line up of brands emphasizes staying warm, safe, and trendy earth centric in freezing temperatures.
