Off-White x Daily Paper x Surf Ghana new skate park

Off-White , Daily Paper and Surf Ghana are creating a ‘Freedom skate’ park in Ghana inspired by Virgil Abloh‘s designs. According to Hypebeast Surf Ghana planned to “ organize various art and sporting events at skating venues, which will include workshops, mentoring programs” and “art exhibitions” just to name a few.

The Shoe Surgeon( Dominic Ciambrone ) made a special Virgil Abloh tribute cleats for OBJ. The unique pair of cleats worn by OBJ have the signature Off-White X Nike swoosh sown in the fabric of the shoe and the Off-White signature yellow that covers the sneaker.

His statement to describe the collection was to “celebrate the idea of commercialism rather than deny it the way fashion tends to”. The collection includes graffiti pieces, different monogram styles and a mix of bold and neutral color palettes.
